Labradorite is one of my favourite stones. And the legend about it is a nice taleΒ ^_^
In the beginning of time, Northern Light was captured in the mountains at
the coast of Labrador. She was very unhappy because she was trapped
in the cliffs for a thousand years. But one day, an Inuit warrior came by and
saw that Northern Light was trapped. He took his spear, and cracked the mountain open
and freed her. But not all of her got out, a part of her was left behind and that's what
we can see today as a blue shine when the light is right.
