I have had a few styling ponies sat in my bait box for awhile now while I wondered what to do with them and thought I would do a styling merpony since no one has done one yet as far as I know! please feel free to correct me if someone has already done one
Sea Dreams started life as a styling rainbow dash and I removed her back legs and sculpted her tail in apoxie and then put each scale on individually. I then gave her an airbrushed full body repaint in "ocean blue" acrylic paint. Her tail is painted with lumieres halo blue gold metallic acrylic which is a stunning colour but the camera doesnt pick up alot of the two tone effect I have hand painted gold swirls on her side and forehead and outlined the swirls in deep teal acrylic.
Her eyes have been completely repainted in four different shades of blue and I have given her gold eyeshadow and decorated her eyelashes with aqua crystals. She also has aqua and teal crystals around the base of her tail.
I have rehaired her with Dollyhair in shades of poison ivy, pacific ocean and sunlight.
