Sorry, I currently don't do art trades. This was a special offer a while ago.

My to-do list is getting shorter~
It took me quite a while to actually get started with this but in the end I finished it quite fast, although I spent surprisingly much time on it.
I was browsing dA to get some inspiration on how to work out the idea of a singing character without making it look too boring, when I suddenly stumbled upon this base . I decided to use it as a reference for the pose and perspective, although compared to the original I sorta failed the perspective part, but I like the result anyway. c:
Inking was a pain as usual, especially the hair since I redrew the small braids several times until I was finally satisfied. Next problem were the folds in the jacket... I dislike baggy clothes. :C They gave me another hard time during the shading process... =v=; In the end I even got a little lazy on that since it just pissed me off too hard... |'D
All in all, however, I was quite happy with this picture since it gave me exactly what I originally intended with the art trade offer: a challenge! The pose, the perspective, the headphones, the hair... seriously, I would've never drawn a character with such hair voluntarily. x'D

Originally I planned to use some awesome Vocaloid artworks from deviantART for the posters, claiming them to be band posters on the wall of a typical music fan. However, I felt pretty bad using them, with or without permission. Thus I looked for some other less "problematic" artworks to use, for example directly from Vocaloid videos.
In the end I used the following pictures:
1. a drawing from the video of "背徳の記憶~Lost Memory~" , found it here: vocal-utau.blogspot.de/2012/05…
2. a drawing from the video of "Dead Line Circus" , found it here: www.zerochan.net/1223497
3. a drawing of the K-ON! characters in their "Don't Say Lazy" outfits, that I.... suddenly can't find anymore... o O; Find it somewhere? Please tell me so I can put a link here!
I absolutely love all three songs mentioned btw~ ♥

Last but not least, after I finished the picture and arrived at the "time to put on my signature" point, I thought about putting on a new logo instead. What do you think of it? <3
