"And isn't this what they call Destiny?"

I've been constantly listening to GUMI's "Mosaic Roll" during the past weeks having all kinds of ideas rushing through my empty brain.
Now when watching the video, isn't the first thing you think of (right after "evil reflection") "omg twins"?
At least that's what stuck in my head and I couldn't help but keep thinking about my characters Runa and her twin sister Mayu who died in an accident a few years before. Runa, of course, can't let go of her.
For my story I already imagined that in some way during her "journey" along the edge of surrealism and supernatural she might somehow meet her sister again. Maybe it will look like this, sorta?

For the picture itself I used some little help here and there, for that I won't ruin this pic and its atmosphere with my art "skills".
First of all, the pic was completely digitally done, and I partly used the Magnet base as help for the poses of both. It was more than difficult to get the hands right and I'm still not quite satisfied with their expressions... at least not with Runa's. But well, just another point I need to practise a lot...
In general I like Mayu a lot more than Runa. I like how her face and hair, as well as her dress came out. The only thing actually bothering me is the strap on her arm. Concerning Runa however, her expression is still not exactly how I imagined it and her hair... well it's too short, her front bangs look weird and shading could be better as well.
For the background I used another reference, something I found when browsing dA for background ideas. Of course, once again it looks TOO much like the original, but well that's nothin new to me. It's time for my brain to come up with own background ideas again...
However, in the end I think I can be proud of it because it turned out a lot better than what I would usually achieve.
