Character: Ibiki Morino

Character Conceps like this are one of my favorite things to do, even though I don't do them very often. And I've never done one for an official character, for that matter :'D But here we are, now xD

In fact, this here isn't just my mere head canon. Ibiki canonly was an Anbu, before he joined the Intelligence Force. Not only that, he even was an Anbu Captain, as it's stated in the offical Data Books. And you know what? He became one without magical eyes, overpowered genes or scientific upgrades, but by plain hard work. Feel free to bite me for that xD This might be just my inner Fangirl speaking, but once again I find it pretty unfair, that he doesn't get more credit for that. In general I don't like the way the Anbus often get portraited, but that's a different topic :'D

Anbu Ibiki does make canon appearences - once in the Manga and twice in the Anime, as far as I'm aware. Being honest, I wasn't a fan of his design, hence why I tried my hands on an own version, in the first place :'D However, I picked up on some details anyway, as I wanted him to look different from Amayas Anbu Design / general Anbu Designs. I had a ton of fun working on this and I am pretty proud of how it turned out. I'm especially happy with the look of his mask And yes, the fangirl-me wanted to give him a title, as well, since he seems to be pretty well known during this time and seemingly every Ninja with a certain reputation has a title in the Naruto Universe. Do what you like from it
