Sonic SatAM fanart.A while back, I really wanted to draw the SatAM cast in Steampunk-ish garb. Only did Snively so far, and his 'steampunk' look isn't too much different than the normal look I give him. EH...
I like this pic anyway. The background was wicked fun to do XD
Edit: Did a minor head on his head... that noggin' was of Megamind proportions before O>O

Wow, of all this pictures of the Sonic fandom in your gallery, this one has to be my absolute favorite. I am not into dark themes but I definitely think you should continue anyways, especially in the traditional department. (I am always a BIG advocate of the traditional arts)
What I find ingenious about this picture is your little alcohol technique. Not so much what it does but the timing you used it for this picture.
I mean, the technique really looks like silhouettes of cogs and/or gears, perfect for this steampunk theme! I love this!

Thanks! The alcohol coming out cog-like was more a stroke of luck than anything, but I'm glad it happened XD
I too, love the traditional arts, they're just more hands-on and varied, and you can do them anywhere.

The background is a neat and really easy thing I read on a watercolor tutorial. Basically you take rubbing (isopropyl) alcohol and drop it onto wet watercolor. The alcohol pushes the water away from it and makes those nifty rings. ^^
