Sakura Sumo grip mechanical pencil, faber castell TK9400 - 6B, 3.15mm Aristo D1 mechanical pencil and copic multiliner drawing and brush pens. Background in versafine smokey grey ink with a sponge dauber. Tombow mono zero eraser pen to highlight.

It's amazing to see how far you've come [back] The shading is improved by a lot, looks much more realistic & more depth than before, the background also makes a difference too, I think and the texture, in the clothes especially, is at least 10 times better!

lol! Everything you've said is spot on to how i feel about it LOL!!!

I really liked this drawing but my general style and technique has improved so much since i did it 6 months ago that it was beginning to bug me. I wanted it to be in my folder of 'real' drawings but it just wasn't up to scratch... love it even more now though
I wonder if it'll start bugging me 6 months from now LMAO!

its kinda like my first Cas drawing which i really liked untill i drew my second one... now i think it sucks lol!

yeah, that's true It's definitely up there with your best now!!
haha! always a possibility i guess -in any case, an artist is their own hardest critique! [well, usually anyway ]
Though I don't see how it can get much better than this! -unless you wanna make it in colour in the future or something

well, that's great! keep going & you'll end up with the best drawing ever ...and then you'll top it! lol

really great work, your shading is much more subtle now, i thought this piece was good before, now you've gone and made it awesome

yeah i drew it before i encountered blending stumps, a 6B mechanical pencil, a 0.35mm HB mech pencil and also before i started combining ink with pencil.

I loved the actual drawing just hated the heavy pencil background, the lack of contrast that i love in my newer work and the seperation between the shadows on the face... they kinda looked like blobs rather than a graduated shadow (if you know what i mean).

This is now one of my faves
