Description
This is Matthias with his original host, Lukas. Lukas' family was a very wealthy one and owned several deer class guests to work on their 'farm'. (I use quotations because it's mostly done by machine but they still use the guests to manage the machines.) Matthias was born on that farm and started working when he was five. When Lukas was small, he liked to go to the farm and watch the 'deer' work. He'd bring them apples and they'd be grateful but Matthias was the only one that would ask for more if he was hungry. Because this wasn't normal behaviour for a guest, the others treated him like he was broken but Lukas didn't really understand this mentality because he was still very young and decided to bring him home to get him more apples. And he kept him.The comic shows the first time Matthias ever truly wanted something (other than apples.) In the very last picture, they're older and he's more accustomed to their closeness. (They're only really older there because somehow his profile turned out looking older by accident and I kept it.)

so depending on their class they have different jobs? Or do the classes just effect their personalities?

Usually they're assigned different job groups like there's not going to one specific job for each class.

It just makes sense that there wouldn't be only one class in a job

Okay, cool. Yeah it's like each class has a certain combination of skills so they may have the aptitude to do one job or another while another class might also be good for one of the same jobs but not all of the same jobs. Like if a class was predisposed to be very technical, they could be good at doing accounting or building a bridge while another class could be really good with their hands so they could build a bridge or be a masseuse.

Well, no. They mostly do labourish jobs like building, butlering, working in factories and stuff... You know, the kind of jobs that nowadays are given to lower class or get exported to China and such... Like Ned is used to butler type stuff such as cleaning, preparing meals, dressing, answering doors, and so on. Den, if he'd stayed at the farm would've continued working with machines and occassionally real animals but instead he was brought into the house and was trained to be Nor's personal servant/companion which is usually a job for more domestic breeds like rabbits, dogs, cats, birds... Pru is a dog but he wasn't the regular domestic dog, he was in the fighting class and had to fight other dogs or other classes for entertainment.

Ah you make it sound like I'm sane or something. This is so messy in my head! ;v; I'm not sure of anything until I'm done writing/drawing it and even then it's subject to change.

Everything can change when it comes to a story you just have to write it all down until it's finished then look it over if you continually retread things you'll never get it done OuO and sometimes it's good to have things a mess in your head that can help you come up with new things or create connections!
