Aaaallllll haaaaail Naaaaaailmussss!THIS..... WAS AN EXPERIMENT. *dun dun dun* I tried to make him glow, I also tried a new way of shading feathers and scales. I'm really proud of the chroma contrast here, I'm also proud of the anatomy of the Avian.
Man, I love Avians. They're just so awesome. I wish I could have an Avian character as awesome as Naily.
This is slightly off topic, but I just got rejected by the ShinXChange.

This is beautiful! I feel like an ass for not having noticed this before! I've been keeping it in my inbox because I wanted to leave a really nice comment on it cx First of all,the fact that this is on dark paper in pencil is really cool. I think your new way of shading feathers and scales turned out really well too! The black feathers look so glossy, and you've really captured a lot of detail in a small amount of space! I know for a fact how hard Nailmus can be to draw xD But man he looks so good. And I really love that you've outlined him in blue. It really makes him seem like he's glowing, and it goes well with his feather markings and eyes!
I'm sorry you had gotten rejected by the Shinxchange <:c But I don't remember being a quality controlled group? Who rejected you?
