Pinstripe Potoroo was among some of the earliest of Dr Neo Cortex & Nitrus Brio's evolution experiments. He was placed in a containment part of the castle along with other early experiments such as Crunch, Tawna, Kris roo and Koala Kong. He started off as a "I'm too cool to hang out with you!" type of teenager in the group; but a few years later as an adult, he was turned into a trigger-happy, gun-loving gangster after being put through the Cortex Vortex; thus making him one of Cortex's most loyal and intelligent minions of his time. This change also caused him to grow a more humanoid appearance compared with other mutants.
Pinstripe was the godfather of the Potoroo mob, and was in charge of ensuring the Cortex Power Plant remained unharmed by any outsiders. He had many followers, such as Blaze, Siegdog, Favorani to name a few.

However, after losing a fight against Crash Bandicoot & failing to protect the reactor of Cortex Power, he sought revenge in the form of wooing Crash's love interest, Tawna Bandicoot. He had some feelings for her, but soon realized she was more trouble than she's worth. So they broke up just a few months afterwards. His loyalty to Dr Cortex was beginning to wear thin after he 'disappeared' into Space and thus Pinstripe turned to Dr Brio to 'force' him to create himself a gangster wife. Seeing as there were no female potoroos around to mingle with.

Although this idea backfires big time... and so the Potoroo's life begins to spiral downwards. Where did he go wrong?!

A fellow potoroo I haven't drawn since 2008. Man, so long ago!
I always did like Pinstripe though. He's a cool dude, one of my favourite villains from the first Crash game. Poor guy always gets mistaken as a rat though. He's a damn potoroo! XD which is a marsupial that looks a bit like a rat-kangaroo.
I kinda don't like the pose I did, but hey, I havent drawn him in years so I guess it's okay...

So yeah, gonna get back to sketching the next character, as well as the next commission. Woo!
