Even without the polarizer which only takes away about 2 EV steps and these settings i never made an IR shorter than 3 mins with that camera.

You should let your camera checked, I suspect it's faulty. D200 and D80 have strong hotmirrors, that's true, but not THIS strong.
Check this - [link] ISO100, f5.6, 30sec. Plain D200. The same goes for my D80.
3 minutes is insane, you didn't use f22 or so...

I don't know, i have no problems with the cam, everybody complains about the long infrared exposure times, maybe the used filter and the amount of light matters too.
