Description How many times in your life have words failed you? Some make peace with what’s within them in the last days of their lives by leaving their last words on a letter. Some look back in regret because the chance to say these words has passed them by. Some bring their secrets to their graves. Which one is you … do you make peace, or do you continue to carry this burden of unspoken words.

This mixed media handbound journal combines the use of acrylic paint and alcohol ink, crackled and distressed, and a faded imprint of a French letter dated 1898. The ornate assemblage is made out of aged brass stampings, aged silver stampings, a rusted washer, some gauze and a beautiful Picasso Jasper.

I have looked your other books and they are all great. But the green on this one really sets it off.

Sorry my dear, not at the moment ... Too much work to make a tut on one of my books, cos the creative process is really too tedious.

That is very beautiful. I love the coloring and the general feel of the book. The only thing that I think seems a bit odd is the white... yarn? under the embellishment on the cover. I do think that to give a good depth impression something light-colored was needed there, but the yarn makes me think of something that having been torned. Maybe that was your intention though, only you know. The only real problem and an obvious flaw in this work is that is is so gorgeus that I'd never think anything I've written worthy of being penciled down into something like that. I'd never have the heart to use it.
