*** *** *** *** ***Arachne ~ Soul Eater
This is the very first photo of my new cosplay, Arachne, from Soul Eater, taken in a home-made photoshoot.
Well, I must say that I didn't like very much the result of this cosplay, much probably because I still don't have those damn spider-web contacts like Arachne's eyes.
Believe me, I searched for it in many many places, optical and sites but never found any contact lens that was with the same design of her eyes.
Meanwhile, I'll keep on using my own eyes on this costume, but I intend to find those damn contacts somewhere!
The dress is made in black velvet fabric and it's very hot to wear in a place like Rio de Janeiro... I hope I don't die in this costume in some convention Hahaha

I have seen these contacts once, when I was looking for the eyes of Arachne, but that's not the right color T__T Her eyes are blue with the webs in white (yeah, I know, stupid combination of colors, just to difficult the cosplay Β¬_Β¬... Hauaauahauahua

....question, what pattern type did you use? and did you have any real big problems that should be avouded?....I makeing the cosplay for my friend so......<.<

The only thing I suggest is that you do not use fiberglass for accessories. It was this material that I used, and it is very, very heavy, which makes the costume very uncomfortable to use. But everything else was "easy"(actually it's never quite easy) to do.

Sorry, I did'nt got the question... You mean how I did de dress itself? Well, if so, I do not often use ready patterns for my costumes, I do based on my own measures... lol

I have to glance through your gallery and I have the impression that I could be surprised by the cosplays that you made.
I would pay it a visit more detailed dices than I would have some minutes ^^
