To be honest, my real life skin is as white as paper! hahahaha I trully dislike it (specially living in Rio de Janeiro, where most people have tanned skin because the sun here is the strongest!)... My photographer did a lighting job for this photoshoot and made me look a bit more tanned than my natural "snow white" color hahaha On this album in my facebook page you can see more pics without the lighting job and with my real color www.facebook.com/pg/LuthyLothl… ^__^

You are right, I checked and the lightning really makes a difference. As for your pale skin, I think it look absolutely exquisite, though I understand that in a sunny country that might be a bit inconvenient. Either way, great job, must have taken a lot of work to put it all together. If I might ask, what made you decide to go as her in the end?

Thanks for the lovely reply. It was a trully nightmare to put all this together for the cosplay because of the weather here. A normal day in Rio is about 104F!! And trhis costume is all made of black velvet! Blazing hot! =O
To answer your question, it was for two points: 1) she's a witch, 2) I think (well, don't judge me haha) I look like her in appearence.
Plus, this is the type of character that really makes me interested in cosplaying.
She's elegant and evil at the same time. Some cosplayers indetify themselves with lots of different types of characters, such as super cute, or the heroes of the story.
For me, I like to identify myself with the villains, eventhough my heart melts as easy as butter in real life hahaha... I think that are their looks and behavior that catch my attention.

Well it is no secret that villains more often than not end up being much more elegant, sophisticated and refined than their heroic counterparts. They also tend to have a more interesting fashion sense, at least in my opinion, so I certainly cannot blame you for finding them easy to identify with.
