FIRST || PREVIOUS || NEXTRight. This is the exam sketchbook that got me a friggin' D in Art AS-level. I would like feedback. Seriously.
Response to Marlene Freimanis, aka marziiporn. She has definitely been a major inspiration for me, or at least a couple of her pictures have been. This is the FUN stuff of my art project. Her tutorial is here :thumb89297960: I know the rainbow stuff I've been making is very similar in many respects... but I think my own stuff is still individual. I have much less clutterstuff in mine, and I use animals and monsters very little - just the occasional kitten face or fluffy thing, I prefer to go for flowers, stars, hearts and other shapes.
Did a version of this for my BFF's 18th birthday, but only as a printout - as soon as I get my book back and she comes home from uni she's getting the real thing.
Copic markers, watercolour, felt tip and fine liner and probably glitter pens, on watercolour paper.

Not enough design ideas, not enough drawing from life, and then having a technically ambitious final piece which had no ambitious ideas behind it. 
In the UK, the final two years of education are not compulsory (the junior and senior years, I suppose). If you stay on you get to choose what to study, and one of the qualifications you can study for is the A-level (Advanced Level) - this is basically a two-year course combining the marks from the AS-level (junior year, Advanced Subsidiary and is a qualification in itself, being worth half an A-level) and the A2-level (senior year). Most students study 4 subjects at AS-level, and drop one for A2; I stopped studying Physics and General Studies so I could do Art, Music and Maths. I hope that explains it!

Ah, that was what the hybrid looked like! I knew it was half Kirby, but the other half must be one of the in-training Digimon...
