so pullman lied to you all. there was a mass typo in his books.it should have been armored BOAR.
or...you know. i can dream.
uniboars probably wouldn't ever need armor. they're lazy and vain and wouldn't see any point in big battles. but they do like the look of it for special events :]

I love the tassels on the tusk-cords. Though if they ever did gallop to battle that'd be a weakpoint
(pulls on the cord, shouting 'stopping next station!' And scampers before she gets her comeuppance)
