well you spend a week staring at bilibin's colors and tell me you don't want to color like him for the rest of your life. its addictive stuff! and while i failed miserably on this tiny sketch of the uniboar...its still damn fun trying.there was another picture panel that went with this but it was massacred beyond belief and not finished >:[

I absolutely love Ivan Bilibin. Whenever i do projects involving imperial Russia or stories, i always use his illustrations.

Nice choice of colors here. I like how the outline is a darker orange; it seems to unify the piece much more than if it were just a stark black outline. I am not sure what you were going for, as you say you failed miserably, but as an admirer from a distance it looks wonderful to me.
