Description Well. For a long time I wanted do some fractal-based nebula again or something. So during last days (while teaching math ) I renedered 16 cool fractals.

But I didn't know, what to do with them. Finally, yesterday, after watching Donnie Darko I looked out of the window and it was snowing. Don't know how or why, but out of nowhere I imagined this space scene, so I sketched it on the paper and today created it in Photoshop.

Most of time I spent with coloring.. but it was fun

Hope you like it

Beautiful spacescape. Not surprised a movie like Donnie Darko would inspire this. Oh btw I love Mad World, It plays in my head when I think of that movie.

Thank you. Yes, Mad World is very nice song - everytime I hear it at the end of the movie it gives me goose bumps .

Wow, that's very original. Maybe the nebula is a bit too dense, but it could represent a plasma storm from the star ^^

Thank you . I like experimenting and I try to make something different than other artist. So I just tell myself that space has no limits, in distant galaxies could be anything - unusual shapes, colors, objects.. etc. So this isn't necessarily nebula, or at least not usual nebula as we know them, maybe it's mixed up with some plasma as you mentioned, who knows .

Yes, who knows? If you look at the famous Crab Nebula Hubble picture, it doesn't look very realistic, with those colors and those orange filaments (I don't understand the name, I would call it the Crushed Crab Nebula xD). But it's real!

Yes, exactly I know there should be some rules.. and if you go through hunderds of space-art images you'll see them. But I just love to make something, that other people usualy don't do, because they think it would look unreal. And honestly, if I look at some Hubble pictures gallery and digital-made space scenes, the Hubble ones looks more unreal, than any other space arts. Therefore.. I try to not limit my imagination, because anything could be out there
