Yes, I know Hatsune Miku (Vocaloid) and BRS is not the same person, or even have any connection. Isn't that what make this strip funny? Besides, this strip is entirely my imagination. I love both Miku and BRS, so why not make them both one same person, hehehe...

I don't know if Huke, Yamaha, or any of those person want to make quick bucks since the one who make Miku/BRS thingies are fans in the first place. Only recent BRS (TV series) have (the original) Miku song.

No. She (BRS) is Mato Kuroi. Well, to be exact, Black Rock Shooter is separate entity in Other World. She merges in Mato Kuroi of our world.

Miku of Vocaloid (and the Vocaloid itself) have absolutely no connection with BRS. Huke draw BRS and someone made a Miku song for that character. Then BRS was remodeled to resemble Miku. That's the only connection they have.

This strip is entirely my imagination/fiction.

That what's I thought too... but several of my Japanese friends told me that at first BRS wasn't drawn inspired by Miku, it's completely original (BRS first design does not resemble Miku at all).

After the song (Miku song featuring BRS), Huke re-design BRS to resemble Miku.

Or that's what they said. I don't really know the exact story, more so that I can't read Japanese.

No. The "new" Black Rock Shooter is designed after Hatsune Miku (which have the physical attribute laid on by Yamaha). I stick faithfully to that. So no, they can't change appearance.

Hmmm... I never read that doujinshi... Perhaps you have the link? And I haven't watch the BRS TV series too (waiting until it's finished before buying the DVD-BOX).

AFAIK, BRS shouldn't have any shape-shifting ability (heck, she doesn't transform in henshin style like in my doujin either )

Okay, NOW I want to read that doujin (>_<) You can send the link via notes. Don't worry, in case you haven't read my profile, I'm waaaay over 18 years old.

Considering the nature of that doujin, it's not strange for Miku or Black Rock to acquire such "ability". And that's doujin (fan-made) in the first place, so it's non-canon. The real Miku and Black Rock doesn't necessarily have such ability.

BRS stands for "Black Rock Shooter". It's kinda a hassle to write Black Rock Shooter every time.
