So.. More Legacy of Kain-fanart from my part.I recently played through Soul Reaver 2 for the second time, the one where Raziel(The main character) has to kill his human self and his former Sarafan Brothers (A vampire hunting crusade) by travelling to his own past.
I then realized that there isn't that much art out there of Raziel and his brothers as humans, and I have a perfect vision of their personalities and how they behave in their everyday as Sarafan Knights.
Aside from that, I have always wanted to test my skills in the Disney-area. Disney has a way of portraying their characters' personalities in their facial features and structures. but for an individual, like me, who started out in anime, back in the days, this could prove quite a challenge. I never really strayed far from the "standard" Facial form.
I must say, though, that it could've been worse. I think I got away with it.
So..
From these faces, which personality would you think each of these characters have?

Thanks a lot! Turel is just a dutiful, boring pain in the ass (according to especially Zephon, I bet) - and I think it shines through on his expression..! he's definitely the one keeping track of the lot .. My Sarafans are pretty green, still, so he's got his hands full for now ;D

I read that when Dumah saw Kain rip Raziel's wings, he had a look of distress and when Raziel first showed up with them, he had a look showing that he knew something bad was going to happen.

They found it prudent to carry out their masters order and maintain the hierarchy, despite it being their own brother..

I read that on the Soul Reaver wiki and the creator of Dumah even said he isn't meant to be dumb. But yeah, he followed orders to the letter. He thanked Raziel for reviving him, but obviously Raziel didn't forget how he tossed him into the abyss. And apparently Turel became Kain's second in command after Raziel was banished.

I dunno why people tend to think Dumah is dumb. I've seen several "adaptations" of him, and all of them make him kind of an idiot.
My version of Dumah is just a bit vain, thinking himself better than others and all that. He might make stupid decisions based on said personality but I never thought of him as dumb.
Well, obviously, hehe. Turel was the second-strongest as far as I remember?

Really awesome character designs, I love the personality coming through each portrait. And no there isn't much art of them as 'boring' old humans. Now do an arrogant human Kain

I know, right?? Man, I should really do one of Kain now.. I considered doing his sons as well, but it has been done like, a million times in here, so I'll just settle with my Sarafan babies 
Besides, they wouldn't look much different, I guess.. More pronounced cheekbones, maybe? (is if that would ever be possible with Turel, lol)
You should definitely do some LoK.fanart, your style is beautiful! I see you've done some WoW-fanart, I loove that game!
But you're right.. I already have a gazillion ideas, but I dont even have CLOSE to enough time to do it - besides these cute little doodles.

Well, considering that there wasn't too much to work with (Raziel's a sort of exception, I guess; but we still only got glimpses of his life as a Sarafan Knight and vampire lieutenant -- the rest we saw was all wraith), you seemed to make the most out of what was handy. :> You should be pretty dang proud, lol.

I most definitely did - I really like LoK and SR, so the motivation to research and ponder about stuff in the series is definitely there..!
I'm really glad to recieve such positive feedback on my work - especially with a series like this where the fanbase isn't as big as, say, Assassins Creed..
But despite the size of the fanbase, I'm doing fanart anyways - its what I like to do

Well.. I tried to capture a vain, kind of repulsed expression.
In Soul Reaver 1, the Elder God tells Raziel, that Dumah always thought himself better than others, and that's what drew him and his kin to extinction.
I wanted to show that supposed superiority with him. Considering your comment, I guess I succeeded in some way. This time, he was repulsed by vampire bile on his Sarafan designer-boots

EXACTLY! Those two are pretty obvious in the games, so I had no trouble deciding for their looks and personalities.
As for the others, it was a little more difficult, but I like what I've settled for.
Shame the Sarafan priests didn't get more screen-time..!

Right. They really never had much screen time for them in Sarafan nor Vampire. It's a shame they couldn't make a sequel for the Sarafan Priests or the five Vampire clans where you could play them all or a few of them because, that would be an extremely long game! LOL.

At least they could've added some lore or background story on the Sarafan and Kains vamopire lieutenants.. Shame Amy Hennig is no longer with the series..
And I'm not so sure about that "Nosgoth" game.. Haven't tried it, definitely going to, but I know its nothing like the LoK-series, just set in the same universe.
Whay they didn't finish the "Dead Sun" game they started on is beyond me.. but I hope they'll give us something in the future!

Right. Yeah Amy decided to move on to Mad Dog Studios which is apart of Spyro and Crash Bandacoot.
I didn't really like Nosgoth. It's like playing Black OPs online but with Nosgothian humans and vampires.
I'm not sure why they gave up on Dead Sun. It may have been budget funding or a legal matter.

Yeah.. She's part of the Uncharted series as well, isn't she? Really great games, btw. The main character is like a male, more clumsy and humoristic version of Lara Croft from the Tomb Raider series..
But it really is a shame that she isn't with Crystal Dynamics anymore.. I think the LoK-series deserve another game, with all those cancelled ones..
Yes, so I've heard.. Another user from dA said it was really enjoyable though.. We get to know what became of the Razielim! Which is nice. :b But honestly, I'm not one for online team battle-games.. I had a blast with Counterstrike back in my early teens, but I have't really gotten into it since.. I am going to give Nosgoth a shot sooner or later, though.
Might have.. Who knows, maybe they'll reveal it sometime, when they finally get a new game out!

I see. I've just never been a fan of Tomb Raider. When it comes to first person shooters I've gotta have my bio shock. I love the heck out of Overlord and fable too. The lok series does indeed need a new game they are way overdue! Plus with the graphics these days I bet it would be sick especially the blood splatter and decapitation. (I'm a little demented and dark at times. LOL)
Right they have cancelled several of them and was a total let down! I know my daughter loves it when I play Soul Reaver 2 and Defiance. She loves Raziel because he's blue and tends to have a colorful sword. She gets so cute too when she points at the wraith reaver and says "see."
They might or they could pull a move like EA does and doesn't announce it until like a week to 2 months before it's release. (Bastards.)
Right. Although it would have been hilarious if it did. I want to play as them too. Although from what I have been seeing from the Prodigal sons we might be able to because I played the demo they had out before when I got to play it as Lieutenant Raziel pre-fallen, minus the wings.
