My Mama’s new puppy, Tutankhamen! He got the name because he’s really noisy for a puppy, and kept interrupting us when we were discussing what she should call him. “Tut, tut!” Mom said, and the little cogs began to turn in my head. We’ve had 2 Great Pyrenees dogs before, and both had Egyptian names, Pharaoh & Rameses. He’s utterly ADORABLE!! He looks like a Muppet pup when he walks (or rather wobbles), and he makes the oddest noises— aside from the usual yips, howls & growls, he also snuffles, snorts, and grunts like a bear cub!
The best part of the image of him drinking milk from a teacup is that Pharaoh grew to be 150 pounds, and Ramses got to be *250* pounds!! So these’ll be really funny to see in a year or two, when he’s turned into a polar bear.
