do you use something to keep the watercolors off the paper up at the top where their tails get all wispy? I love this by the way, you do amazing things with traditional media. I've been one of your silent stalkers for a year or two now.

Those wispy tails are mostly done digitally by using various white brushes.
Otherwise you can keep watercolor from some areas by "drawing" with stearin candles on the paper, or applying masking fluid
