This remember me to:

we're just two lost souls
swimming in a fish bowl,
year after year,
running over the same old ground.
what have we found?
THE SAME OLD FEARS
wish you were here.

POEM RESPONSE

"Never left me be,
Comes and goes
In twos and threes.

I'm barely hanging on to life,
Nightmares filled with fear and strife.
Will I, won't I; can't decide.
In this awful dream, can I survive?"

Poem response. To you and the fox in the drawing. I don't feel that way specifically.

Yeah. . .but it could be fine. To have a "poem battle", or otherwise write four lines worth of a poem, and respond back and forth to them.

Haha Yeah, cool idea! but i'm not a writer, neither english is my mother language so it would be so hard for me :/

purplecruiser In reply to nicolasgabriel [2016-08-09 21:47:47 +0000 UTC]

*shrugs* It's okay, just a thought. Hm . . . wait, "mother language"?? I . . . like the sound of that, actually. *scribbles furiously*

nicolasgabriel In reply to purplecruiser [2016-08-11 15:39:21 +0000 UTC]

Yes? are you going to make a poem of that?  I mean with "mother language?
By the way my language is spanish...

purplecruiser In reply to nicolasgabriel [2016-08-11 16:04:23 +0000 UTC]

Well, I . . . okay, now I remember.  I just liked the term "mother language". I like scribbling stories and such, and sometimes I try putting in different languages (with varying degrees of success), and the term sorta popped out to me. It'd be interesting to use. At least, I believe it would.

Aaah!... did you try it with spanish?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

purplecruiser In reply to nicolasgabriel [2016-08-15 03:02:22 +0000 UTC]

Uhm . . . . I don't think so. I remember being taught some spanish when I was littler (like three or four/five), but time has dimmed those memories. I could try it sometime, though. Why?

mmm... I just was curious.

purplecruiser In reply to nicolasgabriel [2016-08-16 19:08:49 +0000 UTC]

Understandable. I have trouble containing my curiosity from time to time.

nicolasgabriel In reply to purplecruiser [2016-08-19 00:25:57 +0000 UTC]

There is no need to contain curiosity, it is a great thing.
What would be if the greatest minds of humanity had not been curious?

We'd all be using typewriters in the thirthieth century. Or we wouldn't have paper in general.

   hahaha Yeah!

purplecruiser In reply to nicolasgabriel [2016-08-20 14:22:34 +0000 UTC]

Or we wouldn't even have that, and still be like the ancient cultures we know and have found out about.

nicolasgabriel In reply to purplecruiser [2016-08-21 00:36:26 +0000 UTC]

Yeah you got it! haha
or even less, I think evolution is related with curiosity, maybe without it we wouldn't exist...  (I dunno)

Either that or Ravens/Crows would be the dominant life form. And "humans" would still have tails.

I was just trying to make a paper dragon this morning O_O How does one even draw origami? It's an artwork of an artwork, and I think I find that more amazing than necessary

Anyhow, it is certainly an original idea. I have never seen anything like this. Everything here pops out, while still being such gentle, neutral colors. I am again confounded as to how you mix neutral, dark, and... eyepopping together. It's wonderful, and will absolutely browse through your gallery from time to time for inspiration.

It is forever amazing; question it. Question it, and learn from it. That is the only way to grow.

To give information to others, joyfully, and hope to receive some in turn. Accept it, cherish it, whatever it is, or smile if none is offered you, and repeat the process with others.

A mutual scaffolding to build on, to learn and grow, from one another.

Wow! The paper oragami wolf killed the fox!!!! I love this dark kind of art, actually reminds me a lot of my dreams. I'd be a fox wolf or cat and then a lot of really strange and brutal things would happen...

Thought so, you can definitely tell the folds are realistic and not just random, which I really like about it ^-^

I really can't express my appreciation for your artwork. Your style is so addicting - dark, delicate, surreal. Your topics are spot on and your execution so well done. I love how you play with watercolour. Makes me want to grab my brush and start painting instantly.

Proud to have an artwork by you my wall c:
