Hello I made the hat out of hard poster paper and the white part is stick felt. I cut a long strip that can go around my head and connected it so it became a circle that can fit on my head. Then I wrapped it in another layer and folded the front inward so it gave that V shape in the front. Finally I put white felt around the edges. So sorry I'm no good at explaning haha; I hope this helped
