Description Been a while eh? Almost a year... I should just waited for the fun of it.

I have a general idea of what I want there ability to be, so you don't need to suggest anything thanks.

CINDERA-fire/ground-RESURFACE-every fourth turn the pokemon disappears under ground and uses dig the next turn (pokemon does not need to have dig as an attack)

Based on volcanos, I thought of her while thinking about cinderella and then cindercones, a type of volcano. I've had this idea in my head for half the year at least, and have only now done something about it. Ragged Cinderella, before the Fairy-God-Mother.

"It rarely surfaces, as it's thin body would quickly harden if exposed too long. Wherever it surfaces it's leaves a cone, and will leave them at frequented spots for easy access."

---[EVOLVES: 37]---

CALDONA-fire/ground-RESURFACE-every fourth turn the pokemon disappears under ground and uses dig the next turn (pokemon does not need to have dig as an attack)

CALdera+DONnA. It's based on a Caldera, an explosive volcano. Her body shape is kinda modeled as well after a "cauldron". Also this is more based off of princess Cinderella.

"Unlike CINDERA, with a body temperature of around 2000°F, it is capable of leaving it's base for short periods of time. With each step it leaves behind crystalline footprints that sell for high price."

---[EVOLVES: TBA]---

STELNOVA-fire/ground-SEISMOGRAPH- When ground type attacks are used against this pokemon, it's attack is doubled with each hit.

She's also based on a Caldera, more specifically Mount St Helens, though not really formally. Her head-shape, I just feel, looks kinda like a Helen to me, but she more physically embodies the evil step-mother, which is kinda why she looks so scary. Her name is a combination of ST HELENS, HELL, and NOVA.

"It's swollen bosom is indicative of it's internal pressure and with a volatile temper STELNOVA is a virtual time bomb. It lives at the top of a matriarchy in which CINDERA are at the bottom."

excuse me, can I have permission to dress up my female Ocs as this fakemon?

Uhhh... I suppose I'm ok with that. Just be sure to credit me when it's used. That doesn't, however give you permission to use the fakemon design itself though. Also, let me know when you're done, I'd like to see.

soooo Caldona can walk around? like it has feet and all that? if so that would be awesome to see. i LOVE LOVE LOVE the line "With each step it leaves behind crystalline footprints that sell for high price" it's just perfect lol.

also i assume they are female only. i didn't see anything about it but i just assumed with it being Cinderella and you kept calling it "her"

lydario In reply to FrozenFeather [2013-03-29 03:07:52 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, female only. Wawakai are male only. They're sort of a counterpart. I tried to come up with an alternate evo for the two of them that results from their meeting.

Oh... that.

I'm thinking level 50. I want to give her a branch evo, one where a water 'prince' i designed could cause them both to evolve into something completely different. Like... they save each other. :>

Wow, its been almost a year since I last comment this picture.

Anyways, remember that volcano/ Hawaiian goddess Pokemon I talked about? Well I basically scrapped the whole Hawaiian goddess thing and just stuck to the lava part. There are also two of them now. They're called Seavaa and Oceavaa, if your curious about them.

I recently started uploading monsters and well continue doing so for a while.

I might make another one that is more similar to the Hawaiian goddess idea I had before.

Their ability is a little bit weird, maybe too more powerful
(sorry for my english)

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

lydario In reply to swanpfireX [2011-09-05 05:31:14 +0000 UTC]

Lets face it, there's really no reason anyone would use fire against it, and with ground being a huge weakness to it, the increase in attack is not without cost. It would sustain massive damage if a ground type attack hit, so having it's attack doubled seems like a fair trade off. Not to mention there are other pokemon, such as medicham, who's attack is unconditionally doubled simply because it has the ability.

lydario In reply to swanpfireX [2011-09-07 21:44:17 +0000 UTC]

Well then you could have said that instead of posting ".......", that does nothing to help me understand.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

swanpfireX In reply to lydario [2011-09-08 18:02:53 +0000 UTC]

ok, so, can you just say the first answer in a easier way so I can understand it?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

lydario In reply to swanpfireX [2011-09-09 00:55:19 +0000 UTC]

I said that having her attack x2 only when hit by ground of fire, would not be very common. (I changed the ability to ground, and not fire) But since ground-type attacks would cause a lot of damage to Stelnova, having it's attack x2 almost seems fair.

Also, medicham has an ability that doubles it's attack power, for just having it's ability, this one only happens when hit by a ground-type attack.

Was that better?

I imagine it is... such is the nature of most German fairy tails, I know that much. They all have a touch of morbidity, perceivable even in their Disney incarnations.

Ito-Hiruko In reply to lydario [2011-09-09 03:22:54 +0000 UTC]

Lexadin [2011-08-25 13:21:55 +0000 UTC]

It looks more like Fire/Rock to me. But Ground is fine with me aswell (lol like my oppinion matters). Anywho once again these are really original and nicely made.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

lydario In reply to Lexadin [2011-08-25 19:14:04 +0000 UTC]

In all honesty, that's what I originally planned, but conceptually they're much more tied to the earth. They recede underground, they're composed of lava, so it just made more sense to me.

Thanks for the feedback though.

I like it. I LIKE it! Especially the concept of the crystalline footprints Caldona leaves.
Is this picture on paper? If so, how did you get the background so clear and white?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

lydario In reply to werekitty13 [2011-08-15 06:38:52 +0000 UTC]

Before I scan, I try to erase as best I can, then I scan it, and take it into photoshop, the 'model' being irrelevant since I don't have it anymore, and I simply use "auto levels", or simply tweak it till it looks right. Then I use the magic wand tool to select all the white areas and with the brush tool to max size, just blot out the white. Fairly simple.

And thanks.

It was an aspect I wanted to weasel in.
