Description Mithras Lovegood, Luna's grandfather and a minor character from my fic, Wand Cores, found here: [link] .

He has not had too much of a role up to now, but he will, oh yes, he will. Dreams and metaphysics tend to be the one thing that dry rationality can't deal with, and so he will be a great counterpoint for our dear Tom Marvolo Riddle.

The sketchy eagle symbolises the intelligent and elusive Ravenclaws.

Wow, fantastic as usual. It looks like we're looking at him in a dream, I'm assuming that was intentional. Perfect.
Btw, he reminds me of someone, did you base him on an actual person?

Not really. I used a reference for the shoulders, that's all. If you know someone who looks like that, though, feel free to give me their number!

You are quite fantasmic!
I love your style of drawing just as much as I love your style of writing!
I've been reading Wand Cores and plan to review on the latest chapter because I'm lame like that, such a magnificently written piece it is.
I was very pleasantly surprised to find that you had a DA account.

Okay, wow. I'm incredibly drawn in by his eyes right now. Feels like he looks right into one's soul!
His hair's fabulous too, but nothing against those eyes. That's what I'd call a spot-on portrayal. Simply perfect. But you were the one who wrote him into life in the first place, so of course you would know how to draw him right… oh well!

Also, would you consider doing a livestream some time? I'd be curious to see how the magic happens

I don't even know what a livestream is... Is it those tutorial-like things where the whole process is shown? Can you do one with TwistedBrush?

Oh, nope; livestream is a webpage where you basically transmit your desktop into the web, so people can watch you draw (or do whatever else, the red carpet and premiere and all from the last HP movie got streamed, for example).
It's really fun if you're just randomly scribbling and get suggestions from the people watching. On the other hand, when someone paints/draws something serious, you can learn a lot by watching. (: not to say I'd manically copy your style (because put like that, it seriously sounds like that, argh), I'm just curious.

I just did my usual "basing the primary measurements on an actual photograph". But it's painted on TwistedBrush from scratch.
