From this view point near Fort Augustus it looks like it was a lake in Canada but still the water was deep black and cold...and refreshing while I was swimming in it

Maybe you ignore that Lochness (The Highlands) once was a land that detached from east of the Canadian continent and moved until it reached Scotland many years ago.
By the way, you took one of the most beautiful landscape picture I saw so far.
It looks like a perfect sunny day to swim in those water.

Oh my goodness, what a wicked combination of colours! No wonder this was your favourite part of the trip, it certainly would've been mine getting to sit in a place of eternal beauty like this.

It's always amazing what Scotland looks like when there's suddenly a little blue in the sky. I mean, it's also beautiful when everything is covered in the fog, which is how this country welcomes me most of the time, but these sapgreen meadows in full sunlight are kind of special...

You're welcome, and Amen to that. It'd be a dream of mine to take a walk down the meadows of Ireland or Scotland on a beautiful day and take in the atmosphere of the place. May even bring a tear to my eye.
