Thank you Cinny! I appreciate that. I've been working hard to get better; unfortunately I still have a ways to go but I think this might be a start?

Every artist has "a ways to go," even the brilliant people who have been making art for their entire lives. Artists can and do continue to get better and better throughout their whole lives, as long as they practice and work for it. There isn't a certain level anyone needs to reach. And there certainly isn't a limit that, once it is reached, cannot be passed. As long as an artist continues their work, they will keep improving to infinity and beyond.

Still, this is definitely a start, if you want to look at it that wat. I think it's a lot more than a start. You've come a long way artistically from when we met, Lyk. 

I'm sorry if this doesn't make much sense. It's late, and it's hard for me to get out what I mean to say even at the best of times.

Thanks, I appreciate that. I do talk about "reaching a higher level" all the time with my art, and I think it's just a personal thing. I have always been a perfectionist and it's rare I look at something I create and really like how it turned out, even if I tried my hardest on it and put more hours into it than anything, etc. That's just how it is, and I'm slowly getting to a point where I can just accept my art for what it is and what it means to be and let it be. Just that alone has made the artistic process significantly more enjoyable for me since I am not constantly nitpicking everything I paint.
