Here's the Dark Forest Queen herself. I wanted to do some Mapleshade's Vengeance designs, and so of course she had to be the first. I pretty much updated an older design, and I'm still not completely set on this one, but it'll do for now.
Mini rant ahead:
In terms of her character, I think she's a good villain, but she is way too overused and overrated. I feel like the fandom does a better and scarier portrayal of her, and while I think her book is one of the best novellas, it's pretty basic in terms of character development, or lack there of. I also think that it's very weird and insulting that she's one of the only female villains (minus sleekwhisker, wherever she went) and her motives are solely based on her kits. Its understandable, and I like the story, just why is she the main female villain, and her actions are based on a male that rejected her and their offspring together?
