(Been quite some time since I last commented on one of your works. Apologies. )

To start this comment off, I must say I like the color palette used here. The blueness of the entire room offsets the girl’s rather loud pinkish red clothing nicely. Dunno if it was intentional, but the blueness of the room carries the mood of the foods’ fear well.

As said many times before, I love your water coloring skills and you did another superb job with this piece. Nice touches on the room, too; the books, occasional misplaced toy on the floor and on the shelves, and the whole appearance of the room is finished finely.

It is a great illustration for a storybook. Impressive work, as always!

It looks like a perfectly appealing illustration for a children's book. Did you have any specific concerns?

thank you. I just want to make something different than what i make usually. so the background made it in one tone color and the foreground is colorful. I made this because I wanted to submit to the Bologna Children's Book Fair next year. I hope this one can be selected for the exhibiton.

Oh, I see. Yes, varying the tones like that was a great idea, because it makes it easy to look at, which I think is good for children (and most anyone, really). There is a clear difference between her environment and herself, and a sense of depth.
