Never said it had to be a traditional storybook, or a storybook for kids, etc. Seriously you do have the right style - it's very whimsical and endearing and all the right, good stuff.

Working at a library, I'll tell you I'm sick of seeing so many shittily illustrated storybooks, UGGHHHHH

Yes, I do! I'm still trying to decide whether or not I belong in a library, haha. I hafta censor myself and try and not explode at patrons who are being retarded and/or totally rude. I like it, though. And I don't have to worry about shushing people because my library is so busy... it's impossible to keep it quiet.
