This took forever ohmygodI'm hasty with sketches, take my time shading and with final touch ups, nit pick on anatomy when my lineart is supposedly done, and end up making my figures look really stiff :I
And her face bugs me. It's the eyes... and the nose is pretty long but that's not as bad. And there's something up with her shoulders, I think they're not far enough apart but idk.

Ah well, this was mainly for fun anyways seeing as December will be all technical drawings.

I love the idea of this imagery, and I think all the things that are "imperfect" give it an amazing amount of character. It is really beautifully rendered. The colors around the face are really pretty and work well together,your line work is wonderfully organic and there is something about her facial structure that I just like a lot. Where to start?
The tears of the crows that look like crystals, the gradient feathers on her face, her ribs showing through, the sketched leaves flowing outward, the golden and black glove.
Astonishing.

Very nice colors, very nice shapes and forms, but the font type doesn't fit. Outlines - that i agree with, but not this font.

No no, please this is actually very helpful! I've never been great at font type and font placement and I honestly need a lot more work in that area. If you don't mind me asking, what type of font would suit this image better, and are there any sort of rules I should be thinking about when choosing certain fonts (I chose this one because I thought it looked cool, that's about it |"D )?

Ah i think a robust Star-Wars-ish font like this, outlined, would be fine, really, just not this.
