Wow. So pretty.

Hee. Old-timey snowball fights are the best.

(is picturing a snow-covered Kenshin oro-ing whilst being chased by Kaoru)

I'm just a huge Rurouni Kenshin fangirl up to now, and taking this into trad japanese woodblock print style is win.

*falls in love*

I adore the old-fashioned style this is drawn in. It looks just like a woodblock, only colored with computers!
Very very impressed. I especially like the posing of Kaoru, it's so authentic.

thanks!

I actually went and looked up woodblocks at the library trying to get the poses/expressions right.

I adore this picture. Putting it in woodblock style makes me feel so nostalgic... I think it really captures the scale of the series. I don't really know how to say what I mean. I guess I get a 'happily ever after' sort of feel from this.

I love Kaoru's pose, too.

thanks! I had trouble explaining to some of my friends that it looked like that on *purpose*, and not because I don't have a lot of practice airbrushing.

Very interesting...I like how you made the Kenshin-gumi have an old, woodblock print style to them...looks very traditional Japanese, which works for them....

The background came out really well! I love that you chose to put it off to the side, so that it's not distracting, but it really adds some atmosphere to the piece. The simplicity of this works really well.

You know, it took me a while to figure out the subject of this piece. Very cool rendition. Love the style.
