So I decided to take on a bit more of a challenge and I think it worked out reasonably well. Decided to go for the growingly popular photo-realistic style. Definitely worth a full screen download.In this image, the Delta Flyer is gliding through the planet's orbit, its mission? That's up to you.

I've visited Deviantart before and am amazed at the quality of the artistry of the works that I've seen. Although I am not an artist, I am a Trekker from way back and I like the work that I've seen here. Keep up the good work...I look forward to seeing more.

Nicely done, although the blurriness of the background/space around the Deltaflyer makes this appear to be a 'toy ship' and makes the planet in the background look pastic-y rather than 'photo realistic' which certainly fits for the foreground.
The lighting again is nice though.

While I understand where you're coming from which perhaps it does look a bit like a toy ship, from my perspective I think it enhances the picture rather than making it look less realistic. I think it varys depending on how people look at it which is fair enough. Thanks for commenting.
