Happy birthday!!! (well it might not be the 10th there in USA yet, but it is in Spain xD).
~SouthernWriter2 asked for a promotional art about that Code Lyoko-related fanfic I might do in the future... (I don't know why, considering he can't read my fanfictions as they're in Spanish!).
Anyway, I had fun making this. I think it came out pretty well, especially because it looks just like I was trying it to look.

I don't want to make spoilers... To start, this fanfiction is set after my other two stories "Las vacaciones de Navidad" and "Las vacaciones de verano" and I haven't even written it (though I have an idea more or less).

Long story "short" (I'm awful at summarizing long texts!), it's about the warriors' future life. I don't consider Code Lyoko Evolution in this, so Laura doesn't even exist, and whatever they do in the 5th season doesn't have anything to do with this fanfic. That's why I pictured the characters like that, they don't look like the actors. In my imagination, Jeremy has blue eyes, Ulrich's are brown, Yumi's grey, Odd's black, Aelita's and Raquel's are green, and William's are dark blue (that's canon, his eyes look blue in one episode: [link] ).

Aelita, Jeremy, Ulrich and Raquel (my OC) are 26 years old; Yumi and Odd are 27 (Odd was in the other kids' class but his birthday is at the beginning of the year so he turns 27 before the rest) and William's 28.
Yeah that blond guy is Jeremy. I pictured him as an adult man without glasses because as he becomes older, he starts to look more like his dad. He uses contacts now. He and his wife Aelita (Jerlita powah!!) work at a science lab, and eyeglasses are a bit annoying when using microscopes and stuff.
Yumi and Ulrich are a couple now. They live together, and happily. Ulrich, after 12 years being his boyfriend, is looking forward to asking her to be his wife. In the drawing they're wearing their wedding outfits. I love how they came out, though I'm really bad at drawing men clothes...
Odd's gone abroad to study art while Raquel's stayed in France studying computering and science (she lives in Paris and visits her family in Lucia, my OC's city, every weekend). They separated at the age of 18 when they finished secondary school, and even though they promised each other they would never forget about their love, 8 years have passed and everything's different now.
William's had several girlfriends, but now he's single. Since he left school he's been a close friend to Sissi, who's now headmaster of Kadic, but there's nothing serious between them. She is a grown-up now and she won't be dying for dating Ulrich anymore, even though she admits he's a handsome man, as William. But she's now dating another man, and thus she's not free (I've just made that up, I'm not sure I will add that to the fanfic if I ever write it).

I don't like how William looks in this drawing. He looks short and young, but he must be strong and older than the others.

And the girl Aelita's holding in her arms... Well, that's the key of the whole story. Her name is Maya and I shouldn't say more about it so I don't do any spoilers. You can guess whose daughter she is... Don't let her dark hair deceive you.

Hmm... What else should I say? Well, everything looks dark in the picture because XANA's pursuing the gang, and they're not, let's say, having fun.
Also their outfits etc are not temporally correct. I mean, the day of Ulumi's wedding, Maya was younger (1 year old?), and the others were not wearing those informal clothes. I just made them wear those to summarize the whole story in just one picture, so you can see Maya, Jerlita together, Ulumi getting married, William as a strong and brave man (notice he's the only one who faces XANA), and Raquel and Odd getting back into the gang.

xD Odd looks weird with stubble, but I think that's how a man, who wants to recover the woman who used to be his girlfriend and he still loves, would look like. Also I've always wanted Ulrich to have a goatee x3

The name is "El engendro" (provisional name) because in Spanish "engendro" means, apart from "fetus", something horrible, monster, and sounds similar to the word "engendrar", which means "engender". This isn't know at the beginning of the story, but as you go on reading...
