Description
One December evening, George went searching the house for Angelina.

He found her in their room, sitting silently on their bed with tears falling down her cheeks. Startled, he sat next to her and meant to ask what was wrong when he saw she had a small pile of pictures spread out around her. They all, George could tell, were taken in the silver, tree-filled, sparkling Great Hall many Christmases ago. Angelina held one picture in her hand, and it lay gently in George's lap when she leaned into him. In it, she and Fred were nearly doubled-over, cackling hysterically at a conversation long forgotten. Fred was also trying to speak to someone unseen behind the camera as he gasped for breath at the silent joke. Fred looked positively giddy, red in the face from laughter and butterbeer. George tore his eyes away from the picture as he felt a lump form in his throat. He hugged Angelina tight and rested his face in her hair.

She cried quietly, so as to not wake their children down the hall.
