First origin prompt for my strawberry kid, Button!

Button was originally an albino (leucistic) northern cardinal, who lived near Sweet Pea's farm in an abandoned woodpecker nest year-round. He could often be seen peering curiously at all the activity from afar. He came frequently enough that everyone in the area knew he lived nearby. He loved to eat from the farmhouse's bird-feeder and became rather dependent on it as a food source. Because of his abnormal coloration, he was never able to attract a mate in his lifetime and was always alone during the breeding seasons. The lack of pigment in his feathers caused them to be brittle, and he was unable to fly well due to them quickly getting worn out.
