Thank you for waiting for this! This is the 2018 redesign for Nobuo Shimizu, Oberon of Water and Ice. He is a foreign man from a rural island nation steeped in tradition. This island is based off of Japanese-Okinawan culture, climate and environment with some influence from Polynesia so the people there have some racial admixture resulting in a unique indigenous appearance there. Even though he appears very tanned, this ruddy-brown skin is in fact natural but he spends enough time in the outdoors to make you think otherwise.

He has recently moved to Arcadia in order to find a better job there as well as to help fill Arcadia's diversity quotas, however, the hectic big city life is quite daunting to him and he finds himself increasingly stressed and burnt out. He finds solace in hiking and travelling the outskirts of Arcadia where there are jungles, forests and mountains so he can lose himself into the peaceful quiet of nature. He also like participating in traditional Japanese and cultural festivals, even as a performer sometimes, as he had done in his hometown. Ever since being turned into an Oberon, he has to keep up a steady rigorous fitness regimen which includes deep sea swimming in the Arcadian sea early in the morning for about an hour to synchronise better with the ocean and its life as well as to familiarise himself with large bodies of water, regardless of season(his powers include breathing in water and invulnerability to hypothermia).

He is quite proud of the fundoshi, which is the traditional Japanese underwear as well as his culture's and always wears it underneath his clothes or as his festival clothing(in more daring colours than white). If Haru chooses to romance him and takes his path, it would involve helping him see the beauty in city life and the similarities between the city centre and nature in that they are both busy in their own ways, have their own rhythm and ecosystems. It would also involve helping him to get used to city life as well and to balance a hectic lifestyle with self-care. There's definitely going to be fundoshi scenes in here like a scene where he and Haru strip to fundoshi and fool around at the beach and a festival where he participates as a taiko drummer.
