I saw the strongest aurora activity of my life last night. It was March 2013 when we could see a strong aurora activity but this one was even stronger! 8.67 Kp was the maximum to my knowledge so far which means probably it could have seen even in Central Europe grin emoticon
I've been so many night out for aurora shooting, even if it was just to get a green glow on northern horizon, but last night it was everywhere! So i could go to any place almost and i wasn't limited too much compositionalwise.
I must say that this has been the most awesome experience of my life, but i had to return home at the point of starvation grin emoticon

Absolutely beautiful photo! I've only ever seen an Aurora once in my life (and it was fairly faint.) I would have loved to have been in Europe a few nights ago for this! Thanks so much for sharing!

OH WOW!!! so Stunning! on the top, the Northern Lights look like they are shooting towards to you. the leaning pine tree is in perfect position for the shot! the composition couldn't get any better! AWESOME SHOT!!!
