Your hours devoted to photographing the environment in which you live are truly paying off. The composition of this photo is just about perfect. The point of interest within the aurora is artfully placed in the upper right, balanced by the tree in the lower left. Many would have gone to great effort to avoid the tree at all cost while you went to the same effort, I am sure, to place it opposite the bright area and provide balance to the entire picture. Even the leafless tree in the lower right adds to the overall effect, rather than detracting from it. Beautiful use of what you were given by nature.
