I might do my set up again for my droplet shots, but I'm missing the A900, macro lens and the flash... maybe my hubby should get a job with Sony over here! Or splash out for a macro lens and flash for my Canon.

A bit of a variation of these set ups [link] and [link] I should of taken a photo of the set up, but I was getting frustrated, I had a paper clip hanging to try and focus, but it was still difficult, and then I had a timer and stuck it on multi-burst. I used a directional flash and a table lamp on either side of the box.
Our small apartment was a bit of a mess for a couple of weeks with sheets, paper, lights, tripods and the like over the place, but we both got a few good shoots out of the whole exercise.

Thank you so much! That was a great video! I really need a flash now! For my drop shots I had the a900 macro lens and flash... I miss Euan working for Sony!

As for the sony ... well that's too bad i really love my a700 and i can't even imagine how the a900 is

Yeah, I used colour, if you use colour or sugar water it makes it a bit easier, water is a bit thin and fast to capture, and a little difficult to get a nice round drop. (advice from some one here on DA)

Yes i do have a macro lens and i have 5fps on my camera so i'll give it a try soon
