Me and BendustKas were randomly talking about river and fishhook having awful eyesight and accidently mistaking eachother for the sea creatures that they are low key based off of,its late did some random sketches, river feels bad and tries to fix the ouch he made, might have come at fish at the side and bit his paw thinking it was a fin, its not, its a loon!
Fish thought river was a squid, river thought fish was a shark
both probably need glasses

A hell of a chunk taken out of Fish's paw though! I might have to make some sort of interaction between them cannon...Fish needs more battle-scars and I'd love for them to officially meet <3

I had a blast making both expressions, but I do favor the literal upsetti spaghetti river squinting into the abyss too stubborn to admit he can't see too good

I can see why X'D They're both really dynamic and fun lol. Otl biggest surprise when the squinting in the abyss leads to HELLO SHARK TEETH :'D
Aight yo! Do you have any thoughts on a specific way for them to meet? I'd be down for something from previous chatterings or similar, though i do think an epic smackdown between sea monsters would be pretty stellar as well X'D

Could be an honest mistake, both are hunting maybe and river is chilling in a little rocky cave or something, waiting for something to come by, wriggling his tentacles to get somethings attention, fish comes to investigate, thinking maybe river is an octopus testing its luck in the waters, River thinks fish is a shark and kinda slowly gets ready to attack if need be, i could imagine Fish tries to take a bite out of river and river takes a chomp on him and then they both realize WAIT your A LOON, and river ends up with a nubbier tentacle that slowly is growing back likely a slightly different color, and fish ends up with a pretty gnarly scar on his paw, both feel awful and river is adamant on making up for the scar and essentially invites fish over for dinner and they make up over a meal and forgive and forget

I could imagine that! Fishhook does enjoy a nice squid / octopus every now and then, might have thought that the tentacle was an octopus slipping between tidepools into the water or something. I love that though! A nice chill session with fresh bandages and some good foods and fast friends :'D

Both of them patched up and just chilling and chatting and for two loons who probably have Scars now from eachother they have become fast friends and it's sweet and nice
