haha, thanks!Β Yeah, though it looks like it probably would have been disqualified because it showed an in-battleΒ scene....heard that was a criteria or something. Anyway glad i got to practice and work on some weaknesses in my character stuff.

Even if you didn't make it into the contest, it's always a good exercise to work on a final piece that you WOULD have entered into a contest. I entered one into the FF13 contest and even though I didn't have a chance of winning, it was one of my best pieces to-date. Good job - it looks great! Maybe a bit stocky on the proportions but that's entirely subjective. Overall, great artistry.

Very true indeed, it is just disappointing when you want it to be judged amongst others to see how it stacks up. Contests are like benchmarks for me, it's less the prizes and more the ok so whereabouts do my skills sit, are they good enough to place in a global crowd...etc. but yeah it did force me to push myself more than usual so that was great! Thanks for the comment
