that CHANDELEIR!!!!! it looks so good! I like the scene overall, that said I think the shadow from the pillar draws the eye to the right side of the painting and there isn't really a point of interest there

Thanks! Yeah I think that's my favourite bit too
Funny you should mention that...I actually had a couple of figures over there to start with, and then I extended the wip for an environment of the week at concept art...check out #4 here...[link]

The right side has stuff happening but it's not defined as of yet. Actually I'd really like your opinion on those 4 thumbs. The topic is "Death's Lobby" I'm kinda going for 1 or 4 but not sure which yet. Cheers!

Nice, yeah I like the extended version though the pillar splits the scene more than I would like.

Shoot, way to slow at replying. I hope you went with 1 I really like it

haha yeah that was an ancient comment I didn't have time to finish it off, so I just left it as is. Might pick it up again when I'm struggling to find something to work on

Yeah I really need to keep up on comments.
That's too bad but it's good to have work that you're able to pick up on when inspiration is running low

That kinda of freedom is reserved for adults only. Only two more years...

aha right...well I guess what I was meaning still applies. Seize the day, live in the present etc etc. It's not healthy to hang all your hopes on waiting for something whatever it is. What you're waiting for doesn't always happen or is not what you think it will be when you finally get it. That doesn't change no matter how old you are!....but....I totally understand what you mean.

that is really awesome- great feel. love the discovery of seeing the person on the couch once you look at it long enough.

how long did it take? not that it matters but i just want to imagine how quickly you rendered those curtains because they really flow

Cheers man! Yeah I'm pretty happy how it turned out. Umm let's see, between 1.5 and 2hrs but that was mostly because I kept changing what was happening behind the dude. The curtains probably took about 15 minutes overall when I finally decided they were going to be curtains. I think I was entering "the zone" because just after those I did the chandelier all freehand in like 3 minutes flat. I really don't mean to sound cocky but I was really impressed with myself

no no- that's not cocky at all- that's exactly what i was looking for- although i guessing you hit that zone on the curtains- the chandelier is awesome

This is really awesome
The light - the curtains; and how they move - that CHANDELEIR!!
I love it.
