i've decided to make my left arm the music arm so they're both music tattoos. one for a band called Empire of the Sun and the other one is either gonna be a french singer named Yelle or the band Jamiroquai

i don't have a big enough pair to try, if i make a shitty drawing no big deal but if i make a shitty tattoo i'm pretty much making a walking billboard that says i suck.

haha that is very true. ive seen some pretty bad tattoos, and have done my share of bad tattoos as well, including on myself hahaha

thanks alot! yeah i argued with myself on that but in the end i needed the shading practice and making it upside down was an easier choice haha but i would never do that on a client

I just started getting into black and grey shading about 2 weeks ago, my friend offered to be my guinea pig so he could get free tattoos but my only problem is getting a smooth gradient from dark to light shades without the dot pattern appearing.

I'll be looking out for your finished result cos it's gonna look badass!

yeah its definitely tricky trying to get a smooth blend of shades. i still struggle with it, and i dont even touch color, that stuff hates me, but im still learning.
