Big Macintosh and Princess Luna rendered ala Sanrio.

Seriously, these guys should definitely be a serious pairing. Because when you think about it...

*Luna is blue, Macintosh is red; but if they were together, he'd be the blue oni to her red oni.

*He's soft-spoken and quiet. She normally speaks with the Royal Canterlot Voice. Not to mention their accents... Now that I think about it, it kinda reminds me of the "two worlds collide" theme used in some rom-coms.

*Big Macintosh is voiced by Peter New, who voiced Hoity Toity, who had a scene with Rarity, who is voiced by Tabitha St. Germain, who also voices Princess Luna. In addition, both Peter New and Tabitha St. Germain also voice Rarity's parents. Coincidence? Most likely, but it's still rather interesting when you think about it.

*Think back to a fairy tale, any fairy tale, where a humble farmer/peasant gets the princess. LunaMac is essentially that.

*The put the "power" in power couple.

*They just plain look good together, plus they are the best non-main cast ponies IMO.

*Just because.
