trust and believe me when I say I really tried to resist joining another/this group... but the concept was just too good to pass up that and my shoujo self would not let me pass it up

Ali comes from a normal Spanish family with parents and siblings who love her dearly, becoming quite the "papa's girl". She spent the first 10 years of her life in Salamanca, Spain before her father decided to pursue his dreams of becoming a chef after being given the opportunity by one of his friends in America who already had a restaurant of his own. Her father knew that it would be difficult to move the whole family and thus gave them an option.. they could either go with him to America or they stay with their mother in Spain. The idea of being apart from her dad didn't sit so well with the, then, 10 year old Ali and she had been one of the first to personally tell her dad that she would go with him. After a little family discussion, it was agreed upon that they would migrate as a family and so the Ibarras packed their bags and left for America.

The Ibarras found themselves living in California and at first, adjusting to their new life in a place with a new culture was difficult, and oftentimes Ali wished she could go back to Spain, but thanks to her parents' guidance along with the comfort and company of her siblings, she managed to pull through, eventually enjoying her time in her new home; her sister's love for adventure eventually rubbing off of her as she too began to enjoy going on little adventures in a country and place unfamiliar to her. It was in California that she had discovered her love and passion for Film and Photography, taking pictures of the wonderful things she saw and awed by the cinema magic that was happening not so far away from where they lived.

4 years after, the family had once again packed up, moving to a small town called Piceter in Oregon as her dad had heard of the good education there, thinking that that would be good for his children and also since he had managed to save up enough to start his own restaurant. Her parents had worried that Ali would begin to get homesick for California similarly to how she longed to go back to Spain years prior, but it just so happened that she was one of the more excited ones this time, wondering about all the new places she could adventure off to and take photos of. She and her family have lived in Piceter ever since, and Ali is now in her first year of Film school hoping to be a director [as well as a photographer] someday.

She's a very strong and independent woman, which is where Gabby and I get it. However.." at this point she frowns. "I absolutely hate it when she forces Gabby and I to watch those trash telenovelas on telemundo..."

Fernando Ibarra; 45 || dad Ali sighs, a warm smile on her face when she speaks. "Papá is very hardworking. It's because of him that we've gotten this far and have managed to survive this long. Despite being swamped with work though, he makes sure that he still gets to spend time with us."

Jesse Wilder ; 19 || best friend At the mention of Jesse, Ali looks up and at the ceiling before sighing heavily. "It's difficult to explain Jesse.." she starts, shaking her head and sighing again. "I love him a lot. He's a wonderful friend and is great for moral support as well.. he's a lot like a brother to me too!" at this point she pauses, now frowning "but aaaay dios mio-- help me santa Maria! If he sings Gaga's Alejandro one more time I'm going to end up a murderer!"

Shidu Kouhei ; 20 || anti-Tubbs club friend Ali smiles brightly and manages a laugh. "Shidu is great!! We met in the most amazing way and, to be honest, I'm trying not to hate on Tubbs as much now since my hatred for him found me a new friend! Shidu and I get along really well and it's difficult to believe we just met recently."

It was fluffy and surprisingly cute. "HOW IS THAT THE SAME DOG?!" she started "This fluffy one looks adorable while that one looks like el chupacabra reincarnated!"
