ACTIVE: Copy-Cat Elias has the ability to copy/mimic the ability of a person simply by touching them and attaching a strong emotion. Although his ability cannot be 'turned off' and is, therefore, always on, for Elias to bring forth a certain ability, he must bring forth the strongest memory and emotion he has of the original owner of the ability.

Elias' ability is heavily reliant on his emotions. One of his biggest limitations is how he can be detached from these, preferring to steer clear of emotions rather than connect with them, which is ironic considering he's a rather empathetic person. Another limitation of his ability is that once the memory or the emotion disappears, the ability is as good as gone from his 'database'; it won't work if it's just the memory or just the emotion and has to be both for him to bring forth an ability. Elias cannot use the same ability two times in a row. If he 'releases' the ability, there is a cool down time of at least 10 minutes before he can use it again, therefore he has to be wise in choosing an ability to mimic.

PASSIVE: Social Link The stronger Elias' bond is with someone, the stronger the ability is when copied, possibly even being stronger than the current ability of the owner. [e.x. if Leo's precognition is 1 minute long only, because of their bond, Elias can possibly see 3 minutes, etc etc] Weak or normal bonds give him the same ability strength as the original owner, nothing more, nothing less.

ACTIVE: New Moon Elias has the ability to manipulate someone's memory and 'reality' however he pleases. He can rewrite someone so that they are who he wants them to be, giving them a new beginning. For this to work, Elias has to know the real name of his target. If he is supplied with just an alias, he has to be able to touch his target for it to work. Maximum effectiveness comes with him knowing his target's real name as well as being able to physically touch them.

Elias' ability affects only his target and not those relating to his target. Once changes are made they cannot be undone unless he uses his ability again to 'rewrite' them back to how they used to be.

Elias is, needless to say, an extrovert and social butterfly. He enjoys meeting new people in the hopes of adding them to his ever growing social circle. Despite this normally sociable nature, Elias is, under the surface, looking for and keeping an eye out for those who will prove to be most useful to them. He has little to no problem cutting ties off with someone if necessary, but if they prove to be useful whether for personal needs or the needs of the mafia, Elias will do whatever he can to keep them on his side. However, when it comes to those who are near and dear to him [this include the mafioso], he tends to look at them in a more emotional sense rather than their usefulness; he makes it a point to let those near to him know just how much they mean to him, whether subtly or otherwise; rewarding those who deserve it. To those who matter, he's loyal to a fault and would literally go to hell and back if it meant helping them out.

Externally, Elias may come off as childish and happy-go-lucky, given that he tends to joke around or flirt too much for his own good. However, internally, he experiences a constant battle between emotions as he's actually rather empathetic; he luckily manages to keep these at bay as he keeps his status as Don in mind. Another thing is that he knows when to have fun and when not to, so it's often that mafioso will see him switch almost instantly from being more carefree to extremely serious. In relation to work, Elias is both a perfectionist and hardworking. He has a certain standard that must be reached at all times before the work is considered 'done', this can be difficult to keep up with as he tends to set the bar higher and higher for himself and, quite unfortunately, has a bad habit of projecting this unto those under him until reminded. He also works hard and sometimes forgets about his own health and wellbeing, much to the concern of his friends. He has a keen eye for detail, whether this be in material things or with someone's personality, prefering to keep no stone unturned due to a small bit of paranoia that comes with being the boss of a powerful mafia.

Elias is also both intelligent and cunning, using this to stay at least 5 steps ahead of others and to direct the progress of something towards the direction he prefers and wants. In the event that things don't go his way, he's quick on his feet to find a solution or a compromise, something that is excellently paired with the efficiency of his intel team. Another thing is that he's got no filter.. if he doesn't like you, he will not be afraid to tell you just that, as well as to shut you down as quickly and efficiently as possible. He's also really proud and apologies are almost non-existent or very difficult to get.

TLDR

He used to be spoiled, but his dad found out he didn't have an ability so the fucker beat the kid up bc he has no self-control. He was supposed to disown Elias but then his wife convinced him otherwise and he, instead, was 'exiled' to live away from the Murano estate-- his mom went w/him tho bc she rly loves her son, and they ended up living in London for a while until Elias' dad finally died when he was 13. He was forced to become the Don of the mafia event tho he didn't want to, he still didn't have an ability though.. BUT! ! ! about a year later, when he was much stronger both physically and mentally, someone broke into their home and tried to kill him, took his mom as hostage too-- Elias wasn't having any of that shit bc that's his mom, you feel? He subconsciously used the ability of one of his mentors who was a sharpshooter, and another mentor who could manipulate shadows-- it was then he discovered that he had the same ability as his dad [he got frustrated at this lol] and things just got a bit better from there. He was officially initiated into the mafia at 16 but didn't officially take the seat of the Don until 18. Things happened, college and stuff so he couldn't really do jack with the mafia yet, now he's 22 and he's doing what he can for it.

PAST

Armand Marius Murano was born into the much respected Murano family, part of the elite of Italy and Europe. His mother, Marzia Amadeo-Murano, was a celebrity known for her angelic voice, while his father, Gianfranco Murano, was a powerful businessman who controlled Venice's glass trade as well as a lot of it's wineries. The birth of their son was a rather momentuous for the Murano family, not just because he was Gianfranco's first son, but because he now had someone to succeed him as Don of Il Futuro, a powerful mafia that the Murano family have been running for decades.

The young master of the Murano family got everything that he wanted and had everyone at his beck and call, spoiled both by his mother and his father as they made sure he lived life comfortably. At the age of 3, he met the son of a business partner of his father's and they became fast friends. Leonardo de Luca was Armand's first and most trusted friend. A year after was when things started to get more difficult for the young Murano. On his 4th birthday, he was asked by his father to show him his talent, the young boy had assumed his father meant a talent like singing or dancing and therefore decided to sing a song for him. To his surprise, his father stopped him mid-song, clearly displeased, asking him about his ability. In response to his question, Armand simply shrugged and told his father that he, in fact, did not have one yet. This clearly upset his father even more and it was the first time he had seen his father angry at him. After that night, his father seemed to spend less and less time with him, and only ever approached him when his mother was around. The year after was where things got even worse, as Armand still hadn't shown any signs of having abilities, and some had begin to assume the young Murano didn't have them in the first place. This displeased and angered Gianfranco, and it was that evening that the older Murano decided to take matters into his own hands, driven by anger to beat his son. This angered his wife, and she did what she could to stop him from doing so, but Gianfranco was angry and irrational; he absolutely abhored that he had such a weak and sorry excuse for a son. The beatings continued for roughly a year, and by the time young Armand had turned 6 he was terrified of his father and began to harbour a deep hatred for him. When it was clear that his son would not have an ability, disgusted, Gianfranco disowned him and sent him away. Although Armand was supposed to leave on his own, it was thanks to his mother's persuasion and genuine love for their son that Gianfranco rethought his decision, taking back what he had earlier said and simply sending the boy away to live as far from him as possible. Not wanting to leave her son alone, Marzia went to live with her son, much to Gianfranco's frustration and disappointment, in London.

It was here that he spent a majority of his life, and as much as he wished to communicate with his friends back in Italy, his mother would remorsefully tell him that their location was to remain a secret from their friends and family in Italy, that they were to 'start fresh' in London, and that is exactly what the young Murano did. At the age of 12, he had come across this book in the library called Noli Me Tangere, written by a Dr. Jose Rizal, and it piqued his interest, most especially the character named Elias, who seemed to have a rather intense and strong view of what justice really was; fascinated by the character and in love with the name, he began to go by it, introducing himself as Elias and Elias alone. The year after, on his 13th birthday, he had come home from school to see several black cars parked outside their home, worry for his mother filled him up instantly and he darted into the house, shouting for her, only to find her in their parlour, entertaining a few guests, all dressed in rather fine looking suits. At the sight of him, the men seemed to tense before relaxing a little. On that day, on what was supposed to be a happy occasion, he had learned he was to immediately return to Italy and succeed his now deceased father as the Don of Il Futuro and the new head of the Murano family. This news was met by his and his mom's protests and a firm refusal, but unfortunately, the young man could not refuse or run away from it, there was no room for argument, and despite his frustrations and unwillingness, he and his mother had packed as much of their belongings as they could and were out of London by the evening. While on their way back, Elias was given a crash course of what exactly Il Futuro was, and learning that it was a mafia only made him want to steer clear even more despite knowing that he really couldn't, try as he might. The day after his arrival was when his training and lessons began as he was molded into what would be the most ideal and perfect Don to lead Il Futuro the way it should be. During his ability training, the mafioso had come to learn that, truly, the young Don did not possess an ability of his own, no matter how hard they tried to coax it out; so, with that, they decided to focus on physical training instead. It wasn't until a year after that Elias had discovered his ability when men had broke into their home and attempted to kidnap him, holding his mother at gunpoint when he wouldn't come quietly. Worried for his mother's life, he managed to kick the mafioso who held him in the gut, grabbing his gun and unconsciously using the sharpshooting ability of his mentor, hitting his mother's captor's in the head. Enraged, the other 2 mafioso ran for him, and Elias switched and used another mentor's ability, pulling at the shadows of the men just as he had seen his mentor do. This proved to be effective as the others fell and were momentarily incapacitated. With adrenaline rushing through him as well as the fear that he would lose his mother if he didn't do anything about these men, Elias shot them with the remaining bullets of the gun he had stolen, both frightened and impressed at the power he now posessed. He learned later on that these men were from an opposing mafia, and their goal was to kidnap him, bring him to their Don to be killed. He also found out that he possessed the same ability as his father, much to his frustration, and it was at the young age of 16 that Elias was initiated into the Mafia, the first card of the major arcana, The Fool, choosing him. He, however, would not take the seat of the Don until he turned 18.

PRESENT

Unfortunately, due to his studies and other events,Elias was unable to handle things with Il Futuro until he turned 21, and even then, important matters that involved the Murano businesses had to be dealt with. It is only now that he's 22 and that he has a reliable Consigliere by his side that he is able to properly handle matters within and outside of the famiglia. He's, quite luckily, managing to balance all his work [in and out of the mafia] plus a social life [albeit with some difficulty] and he does his best to maintain this 'double life', making sure to stay under and away from the radar of the authorities no matter what it takes.

In response to his question, Armand simply shrugged and told his father that he, in fact, did not have one yet. This clearly upset his father even more and it was the first time he had seen his father angry at him. After that night, his father seemed to spend less and less time with him, and only ever approached him when his mother was around. The year after was where things got even worse, as Armand still hadn't shown any signs of having abilities, and some had begin to assume the young Murano didn't have them in the first place. This displeased and angered Gianfranco, and it was that evening that the older Murano decided to take matters into his own hands, driven by anger to beat his son. This angered his wife, and she did what she could to stop him from doing so, but Gianfranco was angry and irrational; he absolutely abhored that he had such a weak and sorry excuse for a son. The beatings continued for roughly a year, and by the time young Armand had turned 6 he was terrified of his father and began to harbour a deep hatred for him. When it was clear that his son would not have an ability, disgusted, Gianfranco disowned him and sent him away. Although Armand was supposed to leave on his own, it was thanks to his mother's persuasion and genuine love for their son that Gianfranco rethought his decision, taking back what he had earlier said and simply sending the boy away to live as far from him as possible. Not wanting to leave her son alone, Marzia went to live with her son, much to Gianfranco's frustration and disappointment, in London.

It was here that he spent a majority of his life, and as much as he wished to communicate with his friends back in Italy, his mother would remorsefully tell him that their location was to remain a secret from their friends and family in Italy, that they were to 'start fresh' in London, and that is exactly what the young Murano did. At the age of 12, he had come across this book in the library called Noli Me Tangere, written by a Dr. Jose Rizal, and it piqued his interest, most especially the character named Elias, who seemed to have a rather intense and strong view of what justice really was; fascinated by the character and in love with the name, he began to go by it, introducing himself as Elias and Elias alone. The year after, on his 13th birthday, he had come home from school to see several black cars parked outside their home, worry for his mother filled him up instantly and he darted into the house, shouting for her, only to find her in their parlour, entertaining a few guests, all dressed in rather fine looking suits. At the sight of him, the men seemed to tense before relaxing a little. On that day, on what was supposed to be a happy occasion, he had learned he was to immediately return to Italy and succeed his now deceased father as the Don of Il Futuro and the new head of the Murano family. This news was met by his and his mom's protests and a firm refusal, but unfortunately, the young man could not refuse or run away from it, there was no room for argument, and despite his frustrations and unwillingness, he and his mother had packed as much of their belongings as they could and were out of London by the evening. While on their way back, Elias was given a crash course of what exactly Il Futuro was, and learning that it was a mafia only made him want to steer clear even more despite knowing that he really couldn't, try as he might. The day after his arrival was when his training and lessons began as he was molded into what would be the most ideal and perfect Don to lead Il Futuro the way it should be. During his ability training, the mafioso had come to learn that, truly, the young Don did not possess an ability of his own, no matter how hard they tried to coax it out; so, with that, they decided to focus on physical training instead. It wasn't until a year after that Elias had discovered his ability when men had broke into their home and attempted to kidnap him, holding his mother at gunpoint when he wouldn't come quietly. Worried for his mother's life, he managed to kick the mafioso who held him in the gut, grabbing his gun and unconsciously using the sharpshooting ability of his mentor, hitting his mother's captor's in the head. Enraged, the other 2 mafioso ran for him, and Elias switched and used another mentor's ability, pulling at the shadows of the men just as he had seen his mentor do. This proved to be effective as the others fell and were momentarily incapacitated. With adrenaline rushing through him as well as the fear that he would lose his mother if he didn't do anything about these men, Elias shot them with the remaining bullets of the gun he had stolen, both frightened and impressed at the power he now posessed. He learned later on that these men were from an opposing mafia, and their goal was to kidnap him, bring him to their Don to be killed. He also found out that he possessed the same ability as his father, much to his frustration, and it was at the young age of 16 that Elias was initiated into the Mafia, the first card of the major arcana, The Fool, choosing him. He, however, would not take the seat of the Don until he turned 18.

Unfortunately, due to his studies and other events,Elias was unable to handle things with Il Futuro until he turned 21, and even then, important matters that involved the Murano businesses had to be dealt with. It is only now that he's 22 and that he has a reliable Consigliere by his side that he is able to properly handle matters within and outside of the famiglia. He's, quite luckily, managing to balance all his work [in and out of the mafia] plus a social life [albeit with some difficulty] and he does his best to maintain this 'double life', making sure to stay under and away from the radar of the authorities no matter what it takes.
