but that's a different character so i mean then you would have 2 Persephone * fem Hades and Persephone her self* and i would like a name for genderbent that has the same begin letter as the original cause i like to think : 'how would his/her name be in the different gender ? how would it sound like and how would you write it ? ' but this is just a personal fave . i have no problem in having you using Persephone for Hades ^^

Why we never have to see Hades' wife Persephone?

I've always considered that but my theory was the movie took place during the beginning of his relationship with Persephone. I'm guessing during this point she hasn't fallen for him yet, so the relationship was fresh. And maybe she's spending time with her mother, the myth never was clear of how many pomegranate seeds she ate to stay in the underworld. Or it hasn't happened yet.
