Just felt like drawing something for the release of The Amazing Digital Circus webtoon.

I drew these two characters together since they have (or in Angel Dust's case "had") the same voice actor who is Michael Kovach. You can pretty much see Angel Dust's influence a bit in Jax's character. He and Angel Dust have a snide jerk-like personality and they both sport a smug look. I wanted to have them posed together in some way. I'm sure these two could get up to some messed up hijinks together. I wanted to make sure their panels have their respective aesthetics and color palettes.

Angel Dust's Panel:
Angel Dust has the key to The Happy Hotel along with some eyeballs and hearts for his background. Since the Hazbin Hotel designs feature a lot of eyes and sometimes hearts for handful of their characters. It took some tries to get the spider web design on the floor part to look right. I had to Google some tips on how to draw a spider web design. I sorta forgot how to draw Angel Dust's head, so it took a couple tries to look right. I used a red metallic marker to give the spider web a shiny texture.

Jax's Panel:
As for Jax, this is my first try at drawing him. He has a fairly simple design and he was fairly simple to draw. I made sure his arms and legs had a bendable kind of quality to them. I used a gold metallic Sharpie marker for the buttons on his overalls. The most time consuming element on his panel was the background. I wanted to make something that had a "Clowncore" / "Kidcore" aesthetic the Amazing Digital Circus has. I mixed and matched some stripe patterns, checkerboard patterns, polka dot patterns, and some 3D Boxes. I wanted to give the background a circus style but also a bit of computer-like feel with the 3D Boxes.
